First Aid

Basic Life Support (3 Hours)
Using the recovery position, Dealing with an adult choking, managing the airway and clearing the obstruction. Resuscitation of an adult and the correct methods of CPR

Emergency First Aid at Work Course
Inspection of an unconscious casualty. Using the recovery position, Dealing with an adult choking, managing the airway and clearing the obstruction. Resuscitation of an adult and the correct methods of CPR. First Aid Law. Simple bandaging, dealing with an incident etc. This is an approved course accredited by the HSE.

4 Day First Aid at Work Course
Inspection of an unconscious casualty. Using the recovery position, Dealing with an adult choking, managing the airway and clearing the obstruction. Resuscitation of an adult and the correct methods of CPR. First Aid Law. S Bandaging, bleeding, dealing with an incident etc. This course is approved by the Health & Safety Executive and all of their guidelines are followed when teaching this course. This course has a 2 part external examination at the end of it. The certificates for this course can be used anywhere i.e. for work, leisure activities, clubs, scouts etc. Please see HSE for more information

Basic Life Support with AED (Automated External Defibrillator).
Resuscitation of an adult and the correct methods of CPR. The use of and AED in an emergency situation.

Pediatric Basic Life Support
This course is for the first aid for children and adults. Using the recovery position. Dealing with an adult choking, managing the airway and clearing the obstruction. Resuscitation of an adult and the correct methods of CPR.

Manual Handling
Manual Handling
this course includes Basic back awareness, correct posture (sitting, standing, VDU ) picking objects correctly and the ability to carry out correct risk assessments. Risk assessments are a fundamental part of any Health and Safety culture. This course is taught in a fun way with practical applications.
